International architects, interior designers are ready to dance again!

Few years back hiring international architects and landscaping firms was in vogue, projects were synonymous with international architects who would design the project and Indian allies who would complete it. However, recession curbed real estate player's ability to hire, but now with economy improving, international names are regaining lost ground among the Indian developers. Not only are foreign architects now designing the projects, they even complete it - an added USP for the builder more than anything else.

Some analysts claim that Indian contractors cannot do projects above 300 metres tall and mostly the unlisted players are bringing in the big names as they want to position themselves as the builders of premium brands in the hope that they get a good valuations for their corporate offices, industrial, residential and interior projects, both from potential buyers and stock market investors.
