Oberoi + Uppal again to focus on Hotel Properties!

As per recent media reports, The Oberoi Hotels is talking to venture up with Uppal Group after terminating an existing one earlier. It had ventured into hospitality with Uppal’s Orchid, near New Delhi Airport and the said property was surrounded by some controversies due to sealing drive in the capital. As per media reports this could be one of the reasons for the Oberoi Group had terminated its tie with the Uppal Group.

The Oberoi Group, owns or manages many hotels and luxury cruisers under the Oberoi Hotels & Resorts and Trident Hilton brands. It is also engaged in flight catering, airport restaurants, travel and tour service, car rentals, project management and corporate air charters. It plans to operate more five-star and budget hotels before 2010 Games in New Delhi, hence might be planning for this regrouping.
