MARG enters into strategic alliance with Singapore based SURBANA

India’s fastest growing integrated infrastructure company today announced a strategic partnership with SURBANA INTERNATIONAL CONSULTANTS (SURBANA), a Temasek owned multi-disciplinary consultancy company that offers a full suite building and infrastructure solution. SURBANA will provide consultancy services for New Chennai Township Pvt. Ltd. (a fully owned subsidiary of MARG Limited) in prefabrication technology, design, logistics and township development for its mega project ‘MARG Swarnabhoomi’.

The energy efficient prefab construction generally reduces construction time by almost 50 percent, reduces wastage and gives better quality finish than conventionally constructed buildings. The structures are prefabricated in factories and delivered to the site complete (or nearly so). Pre-fabricated structures have significant advantages over buildings constructed using traditional methods in terms of cost, quality and the life cycle management of buildings. The stringent planning process required for all prefabricated construction ensures that costs are controlled right from the design stage.
